People tell us that if we lose to the extremists it will be the end of our country as we know it. Well, I have news for you: we’ve already lost the country we knew and it’s only going to get worse the longer we allow the extremists to control the narrative. Anyone who has studied can show you the outcome of the historical narrative we are allowing the extremists to craft and the useful idiots of the media to propagate.
First, this isn’t the Left, or the Right, or the collectivists although they are part of the effort. Each serving its purpose thinking they are running the show. They are not. The show is being run by a number of state and non-state actors who have only a common goal: to bring down the United States as a democratic republic and staunch defender of the freedom of the individual. Russia, China, Canada, the United Kingdom, the European Union all have reason to want the US to fracture and elements within each of these governments are taking part in the greater effort. Then the non-state actors who are members of organizations like Davos and want to control the monetary systems of the world want the dollar to be replaced as the standard of currency. They want freedom of action for their corporations in Africa and other mineral rich areas of the world. They have groups acting on their behalf.
These are not coordinated activities with one central point that can be attacked and overcome. Rather they are swarming insects, some consume as ravenous locusts, some sting like Africanized bees, some distract with their whining and general nuance yet they carry long term illnesses like mosquitoes and biting midges. The only thing they have in common is the desire to bring down the Republic.
Their tools: the media driven by ratings where chaos and half-truths sell better than fact and the truth; religious groups who have been led to think they are doing good; political entities striving for power; social media users competing for notoriety.
The plan: have useful idiots, lackeys, stooges, paid propagandists and agitators take to the streets under the watchful cameras of the media to proclaim that the Republic has fallen into the hands of authoritarians and must be overthrown. Have the out of power political groups promise that if they obtain power through the the overthrow they will restore a democracy where everyone has already forgotten that the rule of democracy is the rule of the mob.
This is the narrative from which each of the parties overtly involved believes they will accomplish their resistance, not to an administration, not to the Republic but against one individual who has been demonized such a massive hypnotism has occurred via the internet and television. So successful has been the telling of the narrative that people shout it i the streets, spittle forming at the corners of their mouths, their eyes glazed over. Part of the plan, a paragraph in the narrative, is the creation of martyrs for the cause. This is no different that the martyrdom Islam promises its youth if they fall in defense of the faith. The crowds will shout your name and you will be remembered, but only until the next martyr falls.
What to do. Seize the narrative. The Republic has martyrs too. Send people into the streets with the pictures of the young children raped, murdered, robbed by illegal aliens. Shout their names, for they are many more than have died as useful idiots in the crowds of paid protestors. Track down and arrest the middle of the chain of money and support. We only need to take out one link in each chain to end the chaos.
More importantly find some back braces for the congress people who are too timid to face up to the media amplified clamor of the airwaves. Pass acts that will strengthen the Republic like a voter ID act. Place a moratorium on foreign money and prosecute those who accept it. Pass strong campaign funding laws that prohibit national or state money in local elections making it that only money raised within the district being contested may be used. Take Washington out of the elections for district eight in Tennessee or district twelve in New York. Pass a law that makes corporations non-people for the purposes of elections and campaigning. Make it illegal for any group that takes federal money or is in any way connected to the federal government to either contribute to individual candidates or actively support any candidate. If corporations are going to be outlawed then unions too should be excluded from political involvement. Let’s get back to the concept of one citizen, one vote and let’s make sure only citizens can vote. Otherwise there is no value in citizenship.
It isn’t too late yet, but we are nearing the tipping point if aggressive action isn’t taken now.

This is so true and I have never seen it so well written up before, but I often feel that way about your writings
